Acrylic glazing will let in the same light as glass and is virtually shatter proof, along with being scratch resitant and far superior to polycarbonate of the same specification, It will not Yellow or craze and discolour and is light enough to open on a simple casement machanism.

4mm Single Glazed Glass
4mm Toughened glass single sheet glazing is only slightly heavier than the acrylic option along with being scratch resistant it is light enough to open on a simple casement machanism.
